Phil Stumbles
Phil is a senior lecturer in pathology in the School of Veterinary and Life Sciences at Murdoch University, Perth, Australia and an Honorary Research Fellow at the Telethon Kids Institute, Perth, Australia. He completed his Ph.D. in immunology in 1994 and has held postdoctoral positions at the University of Oxford, University of Western Australia and Telethon Kids Institute. His research is focused on the role of respiratory dendritic cells in regulating immunological tolerance, pathogenesis of inflammatory disorders such as allergic asthma, and in protection against respiratory viral infections such as influenza.
