Stephen R Daley

Stephen Daley is currently a Research Fellow in the Department of Immunology at The John Curtin School of Medical Research in Canberra. He trained in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery at the University of Queensland, graduating in 2000. After 2 years in clinical practice, in 2002 he was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship to undertake a doctorate in transplantation tolerance research at Oxford University with Professor Herman Waldmann. In 2006 he joined Professor Chris Goodnow’s laboratory in Canberra and has since developed a research program that combines carefully honed flow cytometry with mouse genetics to delineate the physiological mechanisms of CD4 T cell tolerance and how they break down as a consequence of inherited mutations.
